I consider the study of Reiki to be a journey of self discovery and spiritual awakening.  The successful student is committed to learning and motivated by a genuine desire to develop their understanding and ability. I use the term student which many will associate with school and university.  However, with Reiki I believe learning takes place in the heart and soul and not so much in the head. Learning focuses on intuition, values, principles and ethics as much as it does on facts, figures and hand positions.
