Following accreditation at this level the student will be qualified to teach Reiki and attune others to Reiki at all levels.
Who is this course for:
Training at Level 3 is for those who wish to teach Reiki. This is often called Master Level. However, I do not believe that you become a Master or have the right to call yourself a Master until someone else refers to you as a Master. This privilege and status is achieved through your students. Do they respect you? Do they honour your teaching? Do they consult you and most importantly do they regard you as a Master. If the answer to all these questions is yes then you are a Master. Remember even then you are only a Master of Reiki and not of your students.
Teaching Reiki is enormous responsibility and you must possess a depth of knowledge not only to teach but to answer questions and advise your students. An intensive level of training is required to achieve this level of understanding and application. The course is always held on a one-to-one basis, and generally over three days on a residential basis. Whilst this format for teaching is preferred it is acknowledged that some people may find it difficult to commit this amount of time in a block, and may also not be able to stay away from home overnight. For this reason training does not need to be residential and can be tailored according to the students needs. However, the time required to complete the training will always be the equivalent in hours of a minimum of three days. The training takes as long as it takes and as with all learning it is only the beginning of a process and your development will be an ongoing.
Aim:
To introduce students to the advanced principles and practices of Reiki, and enable them to teach students in a professional manner.
Objectives:
At this level each
workshop is based on the individual and their personal learning and development
needs. However, each course will
also cover these core elements.
At the end of the workshop students will be able to:
|
Recall the key teaching from Reiki 1 & 2.
|
Develop proposals for workshops at Level 1 and Level 2.
|
Use and describe the three additional symbols required at this
level. | |
|
Use meditation for insight and protection.
|
Develop and practice psychic healing.
|
Attune others at all three levels of Reiki.
|
Set up a crystal-healing grid.
|
Carry out a healing attunement.
|
Describe the requirements and safeguards for professional
practice. | |
|
Describe appropriate uses for Reiki and contraindications. |
At the end of the workshop students will have been attuned to Reiki at level 3.
Traditionally the person who teaches and attunes you at Level 3 would be available to you for professional consultation and advice. It is also customary and sometimes appropriate to invite your teacher to your first workshop for personal support. David is happy to provide this support to students who have studied with him at Level 3.
At the end of the course students will receive two certificates. The first certificate will state that the student has been attuned to Advanced Reiki. The second certificate will state that the student has successfully undertaken training at level 3.
Students will also be given a document that charts their lineage through David to Dr Usui.
