Who is this course for:
Training at Level 1 is for those who are curious about Reiki. What it is? Where it comes from and how to use it. This course is one full day or a minimum of 7 hours. For most this is sufficient and they are content at this level, and they are able to treat themselves and those dear to them. However, some people do wish to develop further and provide Reiki on a professional basis. To do this you must also successfully complete training at Level 2.
Aim:
To introduce students to Reiki and to enable them to treat friends and family.
Objectives:
At the end of the workshop students will be able to:

Tell a basic history of Reiki. |

Identify the main chakras of the body. |

Carry out a Reiki treatment using the basic hand positions. |

Describe appropriate uses for Reiki and contraindications. |
Students will also have been attuned to Reiki and had an opportunity to carry out a supervised treatment.
The course is held over one day and lunch is provided. There is also a follow up meeting. This meeting will be held after sufficient time has passed to enable participants to have given treatments to friends and/or family.
After the follow up meeting the student will receive a certificate. The certificate will state that the student has been attuned to Reiki and successfully undertaken training at level 1.
